Makeup advice articles, tutorials, and full-blown symposiums on the subject of getting gussied up are certainly not in minimal supply these days. However, discovering one that resonates with your particular style and sensibility is considerably more finite. As an artist, perpetual bibliophile, and conspicuous consumer of non-essential goods, I seldom grow weary of listening, viewing, or reading about different (wacky) techniques and approaches to cosmetics. Unfortunately, I seldom relate to the advice being proffered. For instance, “How to bring out your eyes”…“Wear this mascara”…is hardly worthwhile information, lol. --And with the Global Pandemic limiting our ability to interact with clients on a more personal level, I thought it might be a good time to begin a blog; a sort of love letter to Devoteés of Le Métier de Beauté.  It’s an opportunity to speak as we might in person (like the old days). 😊

Confabulating with my coterie of friends and cohorts on the minutiae of makeup and beauty is a dubious subject matter that we revisit not just with great frequency throughout the day, but in pretty much never-ending perpetuality.
